News Why buy Fair Trade chocolate for Halloween? Illegal child labor is a major problem on cocoa farms in West Africa, especially in the Ivory Coast which supplies 40% of the world's cocoa. USAID estimated that 284,000 children work in abusive child labor conditions. There is a solution -- Fair Trade Certified Chocolate -- and you have the opportunity to ask Hersheys, the largest chocolate company in the US, to buy Fair Trade cocoa. Almost ten years since chocolate companies committed to ending child labor, forced labor, and trafficking in their cocoa supply chains, these egregious labor rights abuses continue. While many chocolate companies have taken positive steps, the Hershey Company lags behind its competitors. Hershey has no policies in place to trace its cocoa and protect workers. Check out Momentum's new video! Momentum is proud to have partnered with Metroseen to create a virtual tour and experience of Momentum. In the new video, we try to give people a virtual experience of walking through the shop as well as an opportunity to learn about the mission and vision behind Momentum.
Metroseen is a great local business working to connect local businesses and consumers throughout Boulder. Their videos provide a visual, artistic and emotional experience, rather than just an ordinary city guide. 
Fashion Night Out at Momentum was a success! Boulder joined over 250 other cities worldwide for this years after-hours fashion extravaganza. Shoppers hit the streets to celebrate and preview all the hot fall fashion, accessories & looks provided by Downtown Boulder's finest retailers, galleries and salons. Momentum's Isha and Bethany were at on hand with live music and food provided by Arabesque. 
Updates Check out our new Indian tableloths! Artisans use a generations-old-traditional method of hand-block printing from the Rajasthan region of India. First they hand carve a different woodblock for each color, then hand print each color, starting with the border. These tablecloths are true works of art and we just received a huge shipment of some great new styles and colors!
